Hide restaurant in London’s Mayfair provided a beautiful contemporary backdrop to this intimate luncheon, in celebration of the imminent arrival of baby Aresti.

Situated in the restaurant’s Hide & Seek private dining room, the long dining table was adorned with fabric draping, layered textiles and soft candlelight, whilst a striking sculptural fondant cake took centre stage, standing out amongst it all.

The overall aesthetic was kept neutral, with the baby’s gender being kept a surprise. The tablescape took inspiration from the general theme of the day; ‘Up in the Clouds’. A light, airy and ethereal setting full of delicate and minimalist singular-tone styling.

Modern, pebble-shaped stationery menus and signs were designed and produced by London-based stationer, Hold Studio London. Surrey-based cake designer, La Boheme (Anna Lewis Cake Design), provided a statement-piece celebration cake complete with textural fondant icing and sugar sails, providing an architectural approach to the brief.
