The business originated from a love of planning, creativity and bringing people together. It was important to build a brand and business that represents artistic, romantic and modern couples searching for an intuitive planning, yet equally thought-provoking, design process.
Our work is inspired by sights, sounds, emotions and feelings - we’re drawn to contrasting textures, muted tones and refined details that, when brought together, offer a truly authentic and cohesive design full of emotive flare. We are creators, makers, storytellers and coordinators who specialise in design-led, purpose-filled occasions where considered planning and innovative design is always at the forefront.
Studio Porter was founded in 2020 by Hannah Porter. The Studio is very much, and has always been, a boutique-style business that offers a curated, high-quality selection of services to couples looking for a personal planning experience. After five sublime years, Hannah is delighted to welcome her hardworking and inspiring mother to the Studio Porter team.
As a child growing up in London to parents who both work in creative industries, Hannah was always encouraged to have an imaginative outlook on life, where being creative is all she’s ever known. Experiencing intimate gatherings with close friends and family then taught her the value of social interaction and how bringing people together creates some of the most cherished memories we as humans hold.
She studied Fine Art at Collage, as well as a Diploma in Visual Merchandising, and having worked in a variety of roles in various industries, has many skills that translate well into planning, design and styling. She’s a born creative with a passion for contemporary design, but what she truly values over anything else is the importance of relationships and connections with people. She’s a huge lover of art, photography, interiors and travel, where all of her passions, memories and experiences all contribute to the business today. This, along with an abundance of love for all things romance, is where she found her passion for weddings.
When Hannah isn’t working, she enjoys nothing more than immersing herself in nature and the outdoors. Since becoming a mother for the first time to her little girl, Aria, she tends to enjoy the simple things in life. You’ll find her at her happiest when she’s spending time with family and loved ones, hosting dinner parties, eating out, catching up over a glass of wine and exploring various countries and cultures with her husband.
Fiona brings so much to Studio Porter’s offering, having had a wonderful and successful career in PR as New Business Director, with contacts and experience in the luxury sector, dealing with HNW clients and attending various events. She loves that the job allowed her to meet many new people and be inspired by their personal journeys and stories.
Fiona is a lover of hats and dressing up and attends many social events throughout the year, such as Royal Ascot, the Chelsea Flower Show and Wimbledon. She is a true Londoner at heart and adores spending time looking at the fashion exhibitions at her favourite museum, the V&A, and exploring new restaurants across London, with Hannah.
She’s a born romantic and loves stories with fairytale endings. Her own wedding in her favourite city of Venice, was the most magical day of her life. When she’s not working, Fiona and her husband look forward to escaping to rural Wales where they go for long walks with their Golden Doodle, Theo, preferably with a pub stop en route.
